Care Guideline by Product Category

Cultured Marble & Blended Stone Series (Gloss Finish)

Tri-City composite products are non-porous, mildew resistant, and highly stain resistant. Clean cultured marble and cast products using only non-abrasive liquid cleaners. A highly recommended cleaner is Gel-Gloss by TR Industries. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or strong solvents such as acetone (found in some nail polish removers).
An occasional coating of a quality car wax will help maintain luster to the gloss finish and protect from scuffing. Minor scratches can be easily repaired by (1) wet sanding with #800 grit sandpaper, (2) applying a polishing compound, and (3) sealing with a car wax.

For matte finishes on cultured marble, a mild abrasive cleaner including Magic Eraser pad can be used on occasion when needed to remove any stubborn stains. Minor scratches can be easily repaired, and shiny spots can be removed by using a simple Scotch-Brite pad.

Check your water temperature … Water temperature more than 150 degrees can cause damage and void warranty. DO NOT use instant hot water dispensers with product.

Quartz

Quartz is non-porous, mildew resistant, and highly stain / scratch resistant. NO SEALING, polishing or reconditioning is needed. Simply wash with warm water to clean – It is that simple.

DO NOT use strong solvents or chemicals that can cause discoloration of the surface such as toilet bowl cleaners, paint removers or other products with high alkaline/ph levels. Avoid repetitive use of abrasive scrub/cleaners which can dull the finish over time.
